10 Things I'm Thankful For Today, 11/30/05

Today I'm thankful for... 1. The fact that it's the day before December and I'm able to go to an OUTSIDE mall wearing jeans and a t-shirt. Only in Sounthern California. 2. Staying up late and talking to my best friend in the whole world (Mark) 3. Christmas decorations 4. Not living in fear of condemnation 5. Not living in fear of anything, for that matter. 6. Knowing that when I get to heaven Christ isn't going to ask me what church I had a membership at. (Or is He? Any thoughts?) 7. My family's roots 8. Candles 9. The ability to share Christ's love by loving my husband. 10. New friends, like my neighbor Rosa and her daughter Sidney, and Leslie. I know that there are many opinions on what will be said when those who follow Christ meet Him. I truly believe we will be shocked at who isn't and who is in heaven. 1. The best mother-in-law in the whole world! 2. Nonny's wonderful ham dinner 3. Howie helping me clean out the flower bed 4. Mark, for hanging our Christmas lights 5. Kelly Hanson, for continuing to be a woman of influence in my life 6. A great day of getting stuff done 7. Tina (Gma) coming to our house every Tuesday to be with Ben (and me and Mark too, I'm sure) 8. 10 hours of sleep 9. Really comfortable sheets 10. Moose Tracks ice cream

10 Things I'm Thankful For Today, 11/28/05

1. My cousin Amy 2. Mark's humor 3. A day at home with Mark 4. Really good books (The Hiding Place, And Then the Rain Came, etc...) 5. My washing machine 6. Don Prouty helping us build our house 7. Reuniting with old friends 8. Gma's sweet cards to Ben every month 9. The beautiful day we had today, so sunny! 10. Being able to take my grandma to church yesterday and have her stretch her comfort zone by listening you our "rock and roll" worship. Thank you Grandma!!

10 Things I'm thankful For Today, 11/27/05

(The Message) *Thank you, Amy, for sharing this verse with me. It is a great one! 1. The news that some good friends of ours are expecting. :) 2. Amy Abbott who is a true prayer warrior along with being a sweet, sweet sister and friend 3. Mark for helping me wash my van (and doing most of the work himself) 4. The GREAT talk my Grandma and I had for a couple of hours last night 5. The many opportunites living in California brings 6. A house with electricity (I learned a lot last night about the way most of my family grew up) 7. Brownies and ice cream breaks 8. The couple of times I was able to hear my Grandpa preach 9. The promise of a better place being prepared for me 10. This time I've had with my Grandma all to myself. I really love her.

10 Thing's I'm Thankful For Today, 11/26/05

Today I have a guest speaker. Ladies and gentelmen, meet my Granma Prince!! Here are the 10 things SHE'S thankful for today... and i quote... 1." 10 Things I'm Thankful For Today, 11/25/05

1. The awesome Thanksgiving meal and day yesterday 2.(I stole this one from Mark, but I'm thankful for it too) My family that celebrated during lunch, instead of dinner, so that Mark could be there. 3. Luci and Jesse are on the better side of being sick 4. The park that I grew up going to and that we still walk there now with our own kids 5. My Grandma's constant honor and love for God 6. My Dad's playfulness with his grandkids and his "dad jokes" 7. Ben's GREAT sleeping habbits 8. Real joy, not of this world. 9. 10 Things I'm Thankful For Today, 11/23/05

I'm going to make a list, everyday from now on, of 10 things I'm thankful for. This task was inspired by an incredible sermon I heard last Sunday. You can listen to this sermon by going to www.marinerschurch.org and clicking on "the weekend message". That way you can be inspired to make a daily list too. Don't feel like you have to check this everyday, I'm doing it more as a structured place to write for myself more than anything. Feel free to read the list anytime, though, I think it's important to share what I'm thankful for and you just may come across your name sometime. Ok, here I go...
