Three steps of Ben's bedtime routine: Step #1 - Very serious milk drinking time.

Step #2: Get "D" (blanket) and walk to room, continue serious milk drinking.

Step #3: Out for the count. It's a beautiful process. Today I am so thankful for...
1. a lovely visit to my ob and getting to hear the baby's heartbeat again. It never gets old.
2. going to San Diego with a bunch of friends, having a really good dinner out and then watching the Padres vs. the Dodgers baseball game.
3. Lisa's perfect ultrasound today!
4. Lauren watching Ben for us Monday night! She did such a great job, I'm so very thankful for her.
5. Taylore's baby shower on Sunday. I'm so happy she's having a BOY!!!
6. Mark and Joe taking Jason out yesterday to get a special b-day/graduation/you're a guy so you should have one gift; a shotgun.
7. Mark making the sweetest decision not to buy himself a shotgun, even though he's wanted one for a long time, so that we could afford a new digital camera, a much smaller one, to take with us to Hawaii. Very thoughtful and sacrificing of him.
8. the wonderful dinner and late night at the Caruana's house last night! It was really nice to spend quality time with such a fun couple, and very nice that Ben goes to bed there. :)
9. Lolly for watching Ben while I went to my doc. apt. He had a great time playing with his buddies Hannah and Jonny.
10. Mark's new golf hobby and for the class he's taking for it. It's fun to see him interested in something new, not that his other hobbies are bad, but golf clubs cost much less than investment properties. :) No really, I am glad he has a new hobby because I know he's excited about it. (Please note: "Excited" by Mark's standards is shown by a shoulder shrug and slight head nod. But its excitement none the less.) :)
