As Promised...












Sorry I'm in so many of these pictures. I know you don't come on here hoping to see pictures of me. But, in the words of Addison, "You get what you get and you don't throw a fit!" These pictures, while ubber adorable, accentuate the looooongness of my neck. Is that something I should be proud of? In some cultures really long necks are highly desirable. I would do really well Burma.

Yes@! As a guy, I can vouch for it, and say that long necks are tasty nice! (and not in the creepy 'Twilight' way)

You guys are so fun, and it IS nice to see you in pics sometimes.

My favorite however, is of Troy... with his chest all puffed up! Super cute.

(Incidentally, my favorite of Addie is actually from Ben's pics with him... so much personality!)

Love them all. And I love that you are in so many :)
Mia is quickly becoming your cutest kid. Maybe it is just the age, but she is just so pretty and squishy. Although, she has nothing on the other kids personalities! Each of your nuggets are soooo special and unique. Love them all!

Saturday afternoon, 2pm, got home from Costco and thought I might be going into labor. Troy woke up from his nap at 3:30, sensed what was going on and was not too happy about it at all. Thinking it was pretty early, but not want wanting to take any chances, we left for the hospital a bit before 4 o'clock Yep, too early. Walked the halls for an hour which produced more of these... Which felt like this... And at 8:42pm they led to this... We are so thrilled to add a precious baby girl to our family We love you Mia Joy! (7lbs 2oz, 18.5" long)

I know that people come from good places and the intentions behind their comments are never bad, and sometimes they're actually funny, but sometimes I just want to say, um, really? Is that the BEST thing you can think of to say? Here are some of my faves from last week... "I'm going to un-friend you on facebook because you do not look like you just had a baby a week ago." - sorry? "What's her name? ... Oh I know SO MANY Mia's. Like, SO many." - great. "Are you guys finished yet? Is there some literature out there I can get for you (to teach you about prevention)?" (This one is my favorite) - "I'm the oldest of three and I am SO glad my parent's didn't have a fourth." - um... okay. This is the one I hear from almost everyone, it's not necessarily a bad thing to say, I just get it A LOT, "Two boys and two girls? Oh, the perfect family." Crafty Me

I'm pretty excited because I'm not crafty, at all, but when I saw this idea on my new favorite crafty blog I got all giddy because I thought, "I can do that!" and so I did. And since my kids ARE crafty, go figure, I had all the stuff to make them on hand - yippee! All I had to do was buy the goodies that make the wings, which only cost me a dollar (thank you Dollar Tree!). I put them in the kid's little Easter buckets. I hope they like them as much I do. :-)
