I Have To Say Something

It's Claim Jumper. It ends with an R. Not an S. It's singular, not plural. Claim Jumper, not Claim Jumpers. Claim. Jumper.

So, the next time you or someone you love accidentally makes this grammatical mistake... now you know the correct way to say it. And knowledge is power.

heehee. why can't i call it Claim Jumper's if I want to??? I mean, I call your house "the Fitzpatrick's" and your last name doesn't end in "s". i was just in the mood to disagree, so, there you have it. :P

I ate lunch there today...haven't ate there in years. Sarah are you sensitive about it because you used to work there or because you are craving the Chocolate Motherload Cake? FYI, I read their calories today and one slice of that cake is 3700 calories!!!

No. Nope. Still not ok, Lol. It miiiiight be ok if it were Claim Jumper's Restaurant. But it's Claim Jumper Restaurants. Restaurants already took the S. There's no room for another S. It's just wrong. ;0)

Kari you might be right... But I remember a guy that actually worked there and he always answered the phones, "Thank you for calling Claim Jumpers..." and I'd be like "DUDE - It's written right in front of you! There's no S!"

Ahh, the things that bug me, so entertaining.

This is so funny that you wrote this Sarah because just two days ago I was telling my son that it's NOT Claim Jumpers, it's CLAIM JUMPER!!! Thanks for confirming it, Sarah! ;O) ~Kelly Hanson
