We had a great time today at D-Land! Darren, Dad, Jason and Mark, Pam and Luci too, you were missed!

Today I am thankful for…
1. being at Disneyland with Jesse and my mom, what a treat.
2. God giving amazing singing, dancing and entertaining abilities to some people. We really enjoy the shows at Disneyland, those people are so talented.
3. not losing any of the boys today.
4. my time at my parents house tonight.
5. getting to hang out with just Pam after everyone went to bed. I love her heart. Pam is encouraging and real and challenging, all the makings of a good friend. Plus she's really funny and knows how to have a good laugh, I love her!!
6. my sweet friend Kelly Hanson who is celebrating a birthday today (this being the 27th, in my mind because I haven’t gone to bed yet.) Happy birthday Kelly!!
7. my mom making dinner for all of us and for having plenty of ice-cream on hand.
8. Ben going to bed so easily at their house, not one tear was shed.
9. my mom for always lending me warm socks or a sweatshirt when I’m at her house. I don’t know why I don’t just bring my own, maybe I like wearing hers, they always smell so good.
10. the AWESOME pictures Carrie took today!!! They are so precious. I feel bad because she wasn’t in very many of them, but she did a great job and I really appreciate her bring her camera and sending out all of the pictures to us today. Thanks Carrie!! **Don't forget, you can click on the picture to make it BIGGER.**

Saturday afternoon, 2pm, got home from Costco and thought I might be going into labor. Troy woke up from his nap at 3:30, sensed what was going on and was not too happy about it at all. Thinking it was pretty early, but not want wanting to take any chances, we left for the hospital a bit before 4 o'clock Yep, too early. Walked the halls for an hour which produced more of these... Which felt like this... And at 8:42pm they led to this... We are so thrilled to add a precious baby girl to our family We love you Mia Joy! (7lbs 2oz, 18.5" long)

I know that people come from good places and the intentions behind their comments are never bad, and sometimes they're actually funny, but sometimes I just want to say, um, really? Is that the BEST thing you can think of to say? Here are some of my faves from last week... "I'm going to un-friend you on facebook because you do not look like you just had a baby a week ago." - sorry? "What's her name? ... Oh I know SO MANY Mia's. Like, SO many." - great. "Are you guys finished yet? Is there some literature out there I can get for you (to teach you about prevention)?" (This one is my favorite) - "I'm the oldest of three and I am SO glad my parent's didn't have a fourth." - um... okay. This is the one I hear from almost everyone, it's not necessarily a bad thing to say, I just get it A LOT, "Two boys and two girls? Oh, the perfect family." Crafty Me

I'm pretty excited because I'm not crafty, at all, but when I saw this idea on my new favorite crafty blog I got all giddy because I thought, "I can do that!" and so I did. And since my kids ARE crafty, go figure, I had all the stuff to make them on hand - yippee! All I had to do was buy the goodies that make the wings, which only cost me a dollar (thank you Dollar Tree!). I put them in the kid's little Easter buckets. I hope they like them as much I do. :-)
